The Executive Calling

Getting senior officers ready for the executive floor.

Why this platform exists.

The executive floor, in every corporate jurisdiction, has for too long prepared its candidates for the competencies the floor performs and not for the character the floor actually tests. A graduate of an excellent executive programme arrives at the floor with their analytical capability well-formed and their interior architecture whatever they happened to build before the programme. The result, in our observation across three decades of executive coaching and senior advisory work in Nigerian banking and beyond, is the quiet catastrophe that defines so many first ninety days on the floor and so many third and fourth years beyond them.

The Executive Calling is the platform that addresses what existing leadership infrastructure has not. It measures character and competency together, weighted seventy per cent toward character by deliberate moral commitment, and offers the diagnostic, the curriculum, the practice, the library, the community, and the counsel that the integrated formation of an executive life genuinely requires.

Six instruments, one calling.

The Mirror

The diagnostic that measures character and competency across twelve dimensions.

The Curriculum

Six modules that build executive readiness from the inside out.

The Boardroom

Scenario-based practice for the dilemmas the executive floor will actually present.

The Library

Dr. Sobodu’s substantive writings on character-rooted leadership, organised by dimension.

The Inner Court

The community of senior leaders pursuing formation rather than performance.

The Counsel

Direct senior advisory access for the moments that require it.

Who this is for.

Senior managers approaching the executive floor. Executives already serving on it. Boards responsible for the development and succession of senior leaders. Marketplace professionals, in every jurisdiction, who have come to suspect that the existing leadership infrastructure has been insufficient for the kind of leader they are being called to become.

The founder.

The Executive Calling was founded by Dr. Olatunji Sobodu, leadership coach, strategy expert, and founder of EMET Leadership Academy. With over thirty years of senior corporate experience, he has spent the past decade developing the analytical-pastoral framework that the platform now makes available to executives across the African market.

The ninety days will arrive. Be formed for them.

The Mirror is the first step. It takes fifteen minutes. It produces a directional reading of where your character and competency currently sit, across the twelve dimensions the executive floor will eventually test.
